The following is my report as presented at our AGM which was held at Kalpowar. Many thanks to the Kalpowar Hall Committee for hosting us.

Gregor is from Kalpowar which is a village at the top of the range close to the Dawes Range Tunnels. He offered to do some clean up work at the tunnels. TMR had recently done work fixing and cleaning up a gravel slip above one of the tunnels.

Things of note from 2020 and looking forward to 2021

Branding is important for marketing and public recognition. The Feasibility Study author, in his report recommended three sections be developed first on the Trail. He refers to them as “The Awoonga Lake Rail Trail, The Kalpowar Tunnels Rail Trail and the Burnett River Bridges Rail Trail”.
