Greetings everyone! yes still cold with a cold windy Sunday morning.
Rainfall for July was 38mm in three falls, the ground is still wet.
Volunteers have been working on trail access from our Burnett River in the Mount Debateable to Humphery section (5.2klms), a bonus for river users. The granite boulders crossing the river are a must for canoe enthusiasts, bird watchers, with its rock bar and sandy beach only a couple of hundred meters from our granite pit reserve on the trail. Many more points of access from river to the trail to be established in the future.

A Rural Aid project was completed with the installation of a small tank at the Gayndah Trail Hub for fresh drinking water, a big thanks to “Rural Aid” and all involved.

Our volunteers had much enjoyment placing a bench at the palm tree at the old pig and calf yards (plaque needed) at Mundubbera, a tidy up of the palm tree fronds add to a nice short walk from Mundubbera township.

A trail use counter was also placed at the western end of the Philpott Bridge. Input and ideas are most welcome from the Mundubbera community for our trail improvement and development for this area.
In 2013 after the flood a section of the Reids Creek bridge was saved and placed in safe keeping for future heritage display, with great pride it was reinstated at Reid’s Creek this week by supporters and volunteers.

A train sculpture was placed at the Hub, a great piece created by ‘Scotty’.
Trail maintenance along with bull head chipping also took place.
A very productive month with special Thanks!! To our Volunteers and supporters.
New business memberships have come on board, with all memberships being vitally important and valued for our organisation.
Many Thanks to everyone!! looking forward to your input for our community trail.
Regards Mike
