Greetings everyone! what a month with extreme hot seasonal weather conditions (39.0.C) till the 28th. Things have changed with 25mm of rain in a storm last evening allowing for more enjoyable temperatures!
Extensive work at Dirnbir with regard to the recent fire. A grader was used to place access and firebreak lines on the corridor and siding and along with a clear fire management plan will ensure future management in the best interest of the trail.

A seat was placed on the wildlife corridor rehabilitation section of trail from Dirnbir siding to Reid’s Creek. The seat is with the Superb Fairy Wren panel further adding to the (Art On The Trail project) for trail users.

The wildlife corridor is connecting Mount Gayndah to Reids Creek to enhance the movement of wildlife, the seat adds to the enjoyable walk from Dirnbir to Reid’s Creek, Big Thanks! to Doug and Wayne!
Signage maintenance for the trail has been conducted at Spring Creek, Dirnbir and is ongoing.

Installation of the Gayndah Hub Trail marker coincided with the general meeting which took place at the Hub this month. The hub receiving a solid Spring clean for the occassion.

Six Dawson River Palms were transplanted into bags and are growing on and will be placed along the trail in the future.
ZT mowing of sidings and corridor will commence next Tuesday after our recent rainfall. This is the beginning of the mowing schedule for this coming Summer.
