Greetings everyone!
A rather hot/humid February has passed, but with some enjoyable happenings on our trail. Rainfall for February, 106 mm.

This month 216 Volunteer hours were undertaken.
Spreading of grass seed for trail stabilisation trial on sandy areas at Mt Debateable has taken place, hopefully with some results in the future.

The Summer monthly Sidings and Trail mowing and W/S is ongoing, a continual round robin exercise.
A trail walk with rock picking up to 40mm is very rewarding to prevent damage to the Zero Turn mower, also giving time to observe closely the trail. A light Swan Neck chip hoe is great for picking up stones.
Bridge approach reserves at Philpott Bridge and Humphery Bridge No1 are looking great, being fenced off from cattle to prevent access to the bridges. These small areas would be a great project for volunteers, adjoining landowners to participate by taking ownership. Counter monitoring, seat cleaning, grass mowing, tree watering, (very rewarding).

Philpott Siding and Philpott Gulley curved timber bridge has had grass maintenance in preparedness for white ant monitoring of the bridge.
Munduberra visits also took place to talk with local business with regard to trail projects, always plenty to do.
We had a visit by one of our international members Peter Claes from Belgium, it was great to have Peter with us to share ideas and view our trail, (also a little participation at Mount Debateable siding watering trees!). Thanks Peter!!!

Bill still tending his favourite rehab area at Ulcoq’s road, Mt.Debateable

Extensive whipper snipping is really making it easier for maintenance.
To everyone, Many Thanks for your volunteering efforts and support for our trail, (you are the trail).
Till next month
Cheers! Mike
